TOGETHER, WE CAN RECALL MADISON NGUYEN

We are from all walks of life but one thing we have in common is our communities. When our communities are under threatened by an elected official who abused her office for personal gains and used her office to serve special interest groups at tax-payers’ expenses, we must act together to protect our communities. We must stop these abuses.
In a short 9 months, Councilmember Madison Nguyen had successfully divided our communities by pitching one group against another until we can no longer live together in harmony. It was her intention to implement the “divide and conquer” tactic to garner the supports for her controversial and wrong decision on naming a business district on the one mile block of Story Road from Freeway 101 to Senter Road. Through Freedom of Information Act, we found that Madison have cheated and lied to our residents about the process of naming. We have copies of her emails trails as proof. For lack of better, Madison is an untrusted and an unworthy representative. We must replace her with someone who puts our communities first. For the benefits of our communities, we must recall Councilmember Madison Nguyen to protect our communities and protect the integrity of San Jose City Council Office. You’ve heard the pains and suffering she inflicted on the people of her own ethnicity. Imagine what she will do you others ethnic groups. Imagine how much more damages she will cause if she continues to stay in office for two more years.
Today, I am standing here asking you to stand up and defend our democracy, stand up and defend our communities from the injustice, stand up and defend our communities from a modern tyranny. I am asking you to join me on a mission of restoring public trust and protect our communities from these poisonous tactics and prevent Madison Nguyen from bring more harm to our communities. We must exercise our lawful rights to hold elected official accountable for her actions. To ignore the things Madison done wrong to our communities is the same as to give Madison an approval of her wrong actions.
Actions speak louder than words. Councilmember Madison Nguyen’s own actions tell us never to trust her again. Council Madison Nguyen worked with a hidden agenda. We need transparency in government. We need an honest representative who doesn’t cheat and lies for personal gains. Councilmember Madison Nguyen has become an ineffective leader. She can never repair the damages she caused. She can never bridge the divides. She should have resign to save our the communities from further turmoil that she and her associates created but since Madison won’t resign, we must recall her.
It’s not a question of whether we should recall Madison Nguyen, it’s an issue of how long we can afford to wait while watching San Jose residents continue to slip further into more segregated communities.
